[REPORT] Heineken Jammin’ Festival and more..
I’m dead tired guys! I’m getting older… but don’t panic, it doesn’t mean that I’m becoming wiser or less crazy as the time goes by. A special thank you to all who were in Milan yesterday, I had the opportunity to meet again people I hadn’t seen in a long time and people who recently joined our family.
For all of you who didn’t have the chance to take part in the Meet & Greet with the band, I know you’re curious! We literally laid a red carpet to the band as a welcome gift: all the pictures sent for “Your Copy” event were printed and put over the carpet, where every single member of the band could see them; they were so intrigued and, judging by the look on their faces, I’m sure their hearts were filled with love and support! Speaking of which, all the EvanescenceWebsite staff really wants to thank all the fans all over the world who joined us in this worldwide challenge: Juan Carlos and the guys of “Last Fallen Angels” from Mexico, EvanescenceCZ, EvanescencePhillippines, EvClub, EvThreads, EvanescenceVenezuela, EvShadows, and all the German and Spanish fans who sent us pictures holding “Evanescence” album in their hands. Thank to all of you the final result was marvelous!
I’m deeply sorry for the guys from the fan club who really wanted to meet Amy and the band, unfortunately the situation didn’t let it happen. The Heineken Jammin’ Festival was a highly anticipated event for us; it was great to feel so much energy among people of any age. We are always passionate and supportive as usual!!!
The concert in Milan represented also a very sad moment for Amy and her family. As you read from her twitter account, her grandmother passed away and they were very bound together. Following the recent passing, EvanescenceWebsite staff decided to officially close the website for three days as a sign of grieving and respect to Amy, Josh and their family. We offer our deepest and heartfelt condolences.
We are going to post and upload all the material from the concert in Milan as soon as we re-open our website.
Despite the sad moment, I have a special message for you from Amy:

Ragazzi, sono sderenato! Sto diventando sempre più vecchio, ma non temete, non è che con il tempo divento più saggio o meno cerebroleso del solito. Un ringraziamento particolare va a TUTTI voi che eravate a Milano ieri, ho rivisto persone che non vedevo da un sacco di tempo e persone che sono parte di questa famiglia di recente. Per tutti coloro che non hanno avuto modo di fare il meet & greet con la band, so che siete curiosi! Come “regalino” di bentornato gli abbiamo steso il tappeto rosso, ma nel vero senso della parola, tutte le foto che sono arrivate per l’iniziativa “your copy” sono state stampate e stese sul tappeto, dove tutti i membri della band, e tutti i presente sono rimasti a guardarli incuriositi e con un’espressione che penso che gli abbiamo riempito il cuore! A proposito di questo, tutti noi amministratori di EvanescenceWebsite, vogliamo ringraziare i fans di tutto il mondo che si sono uniti a noi in quest’impresa mondiale: Juan Carlos e i tutti i ragazzi di “Last Fallen Angels” dal Messico, EvanescenceCZ, EvanescencePhilippines, EvClub, EvThreads,EvanescenceVenezuela, EvShadows. Tutti i fan tedeschi e spagnoli che ci hanno mandato le loro foto con una copia di “evanescence” in mano. Grazie a tutti voi l’effetto è stato meraviglioso!
Mi dispiace per tutti i ragazzi del fans club che sarebbero stati lieti di incontrarla e di salutare tutta la band, ma purtroppo la situazione non lo ha permesso. L’HJF era un concerto attesissimo da noi italiani, ed è stato fantastico sentire tanta energia in mezzo alla gente di qualsiasi età. Come al solito: ci facciamo sempre riconoscere!!!!
Forse non tutti sanno che il concerto di Milano ha rappresentato anche un evento molto spiacevole che ha coinvolto Amy e la sua famiglia. Come avete potuto apprendere dal suo twitter ufficiale, è scomparsa la nonna di Amy alla quale lei era molto legata.A seguito della recente scomparsa della nonna di Amy, gli amministratori di Evanescenceville, hanno deciso di chiudere ufficialmente il sito per 3 giorni in segno di lutto e di rispetto nei confronti di Amy e Josh e di tutta la sua famiglia. A tutti loro vanno le nostre più sentite condoglianze.
Alla riapertura del sito pubblicheremo tutto il materiale dello concerto di Milano.
